Redesigning and Creating Additional
Functions in ITJobs.bg

The beginning

The software that I used for this project:

  • WordPress

  • Photoshop

  • Git

  • Illustrator

  • HTML5

  • CSS3

  • InDesign

  • PowerPoint

My work for itjobs.bg was something special to me, that combined design and development in one. I worked in a small team for which each member was important. My role was to modernize the WordPress theme of the site and build new modules for it.

Login and registration

One of my tasks was to create login and registration processes for different types of users. I made mockups in Photoshop and after the final approval, I provided them as HTML, CSS, and JS and uploaded them to Git.

Annual leave calculator

One of the modules I had to design was an annual leave calculator which will be used by human resources professionals and other private users of the website. Its purpose is to facilitate the work and to enable better planning and distribution of annual leave.

Payroll calculator

Part of my job was to develop a payroll calculator that would integrate well into the overall look of the site. The modules in this section are intended to facilitate and benefit the end-user to make a more pleasing experience.

Promotion of job postings

The site also needs a vision for promoted ads a further hierarchical structure and information about existing ads. A vision had to be made on the ads when accessed by corporate clients and regular users

Corporate clients section

I have a task to add a separate section in the theme for corporate clients, which must be accessible from more than one account. The corporate account had to store statistics for current and expired ads and payments.

Style guide design

The style guide is the best bet for keeping company identity, communication, and branding consistent across all channels. When everyone has the same business cards, same email signature format uses the same fonts and creates presentations from the same templates, you’ll present a clean, united front.
